The Prep Hoops Circuit is just around the corner!  It is time for us to start previewing the teams participating in the circuit!

We caught up with Philip Johnson of Indiana Red Storm to discuss their upcoming season!  Check out what he had to say!

The History: We have been around since 2015. We started out with just 5 teams. We currently have 26 teams, girls and boys. We have 3 high school boy teams on Prep hoops circuit.

2020 Goals: To continue to develop our young men and women on and off the court. On the court we want them to compete at a high level and hopefully receive some college offers. Off the court we want them to excel in the classroom and work on giving back to their respective communities.

Why Prep Hoops: Our current 17u team played last year and really enjoyed it. The exposure as multiple coaches watched us play at multiple sites. The officiating was good and the venues were very nice. The write-ups added a bonus.

Team Strengths:

16u will be a great shooting team. Not the biggest team but they will play hard and together and they will always look for that open shooter.

17u will rely on experience. This is our oldest group and has the core has been together since the program has started. They played on the prep hoops circuit last year and will look to build off the success they had.

X-Factor Players:

| 16u | Antione Hurns | his ceiling is so high just need to get him to realize it.

| 17u | Anthony Donahue |  his shooting ability will stretch the floor for us. If he gets on a roll he could take over a game.

| 17u | Chris McDonald | he is the low post presence that every team needs.

Players to Watch:

| 16u | Hunter Johnson | an amazing talent at the guard spot.Tremendous shooter and attacks the basket with tenacity.

| 16u | CJ Crote | is a stretch 4 who can shoot the lights out.

|16u | Izaiah Brinker | the ultimate point guard. Very solid on defense and knows how to run the team.

| 17u | Noah Pendleton |, | RJ Powell || Thomas Fellmouth | they have been the face of the program for many years. They all play the right way and are true leaders. They just do everything.

Newcomers:

| Jesse Hall | might be the most talented kid on the roster this year.

| Trey Jackson | will be a key reserve and a real matchup problem for opposing teams.

| Marcus Jones | is our Patrick Beverly.
