Lovelace led Crossings Christian to an outstanding year as the Knights were set to make an appearance in the 3A State Tournament. An outstanding scorer, his efforts were instrumental in CCS’s success as the 5-foot-11-inch sophomore led the Knights in scoring while they amassed 24 wins, including 16 ranked wins on one of the most tasking schedules in small-school basketball.
Jamel Graves Jamel Graves 6'6" | SF Lawton Eisenhower | 2022 State OK | Lawton
A 6-foot-6-inch forward, Graves bursted onto the Oklahoma High School scene with an exceptional sophomore season, leading the Wolverines to a final-season No. 5 ranking and 21-5 record in which each of their losses, save one, came to top-six 6A teams. He was a very potent power with the ball in the paint, but was also competent in the mid-range.
Chase Martin Chase Martin 6'5" | SG Jenks | 2022 State OK | Jenks
Martin broke out onto the scene his sophomore year as one of Oklahoma’s most promising young prospects. He could be one of the most versatile scorers the state has seen. He can truly score at multiple levels, displaying the ability to shoot threes, even deep threes, hit the mid-range shot, score in the short corner or low post and do it all well.
JV Seat JV Seat 6'3" | SF Edmond Memorial | 2022 State #250 Nation OK | Edmond Memorial
Seat shot 67 percent from the field to accrue 14 points-a-night as the Bulldogs’ second-leading scorer. With an already impressive mid-range and post-scoring skill set his freshman season, his sophomore season saw his game improve to include the 3-point shot, shooting 42 percent from long-range.
Kaden Vande Kaden Vande 6'7" | SG Tuttle | 2022 OK | Tuttle
Vande is a sophomore, not a freshman. Still, his play in 2020 warranted a spot in the second-year team as he was outstanding for Tuttle. At 6-foot-7-inches, Vande has the potential to become one of the best shooting guards the state has seen in recent memory. He has a polished skill set as he can shoot the ball from feet beyond the 3-point line.
