The game started off very competitive defensively for both teams as no one really could get a clean look at the basket and was playing very physical and aggressive. Once the Cardinals got on the board the Broncos answered them right back on the very next possession. The game was a seesaw battle in the first two quarters. Neither team was going on a run just trading buckets with each other. It was in the third quarter of the game when the defensive intensity of the Cardinals went to the next level and forced a ton of turnovers in one period alone. Bellaire capitalized on every single turnover with an easy transition bucket or a big trey ball to get the crowd and the bench going, and to alt salt, in the wound, they knocked down a three-point bucket at the buzzer that resulted in an and-1 because the shooter was fouled. Bellaire kept that same energy in the fourth and sealed the deal with two emphatic dunks that had everyone up and going.
