With the 2019-20 season coming to an abrupt halt, here's a look at some of the top prospects from the 919 area that excelled during the high school season.

Council is one of the top unsigned seniors in the country that recently earned an offer from Wichita State. He's a 6-foot-7 versatile prospect that produced as a scorer, rebounder and all-around athlete with his ability to make plays above the rim. He earned All-State honors from the NCBCA while earning first-team All-District honors as well. He holds offers from a solid number of DI programs under the current dead period, but wherever he ends up, he's sure to make an impact right away.

Guard Trey Crews - Hillside

Crews was the leader of a squad that went 20-6 on the year and 13-2 in the Triangle 8 Conference in their debut season in the conference. He's a solid combo guard that averaged 17.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.8 apg and 2.2 spg for the Hornets as they made it to the third round of the NCHSAA Playoffs as a No. 5 seed.
