The 2022 class in the 252 area is just getting started with their varsity career, but some are already making a name for themselves. Here’s a look at the top underclassmen from the area that stood out in 2019-20.

Pinner was one of the top bigs in the sophomore class in 2019-20. He put together 20 double-doubles across 27 contests while averaging 20.7 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 2.2 spg, 1.7 bpg and 1.5 apg during the 2019-20 season. He’s a rising prospect that’s beginning to turn heads with his ability to finish at the rim in the paint at 6-foot-5. He earned first-team All-District and All-Conference honors as a sophomore and has a ton of room to grow over the next few seasons.

Rodgers is one of only a few players in the sophomore class to be selected to an All-District team. He averaged 13.4 ppg, 3.9 apg, 2.6 spg and 2.4 rpg during his sophomore campaign as the second-leading scorer for the Bears.
