Due to the fact that Northwood doesn’t have the most size, he was called upon to not only rebound at a high level but also defend opposing bigs.
Pinecrest HS Senior Guard Dillion Drennan: If you’re looking for a player that can knock down shots from deep, then he is one that you will want to give a call. We have watched him for multiple years now and he is what you would define as a three point specialist. He understands his role and doesn’t try to go outside of what his strengths are.
Westover HS Senior Forward Keyshawn Lindsey: He hasn’t been a player that has put up big numbers this season for them but over the last few games he has given them nice minuets and production. In the 2nd half he stepped in, pulled down some rebounds and finished some plays inside the paint which was exactly what his team needed to make one final push.
Lumberton HS Junior Guard Charlie Miller: Throughout the playoffs he’s come up big for his team, knocking down big time shots whenever they seem to need them. This game was pretty much the same story as he finished with 16 Points on 50% shooting. He moves well without the ball, does a good job of setting his feet quickly and getting his shot off.
Pinecrest HS Junior Guard Bradlee Haskell Bradlee Haskell 6'2" | CG Pinecrest | 2021 State NC : Scoring wise he had an off day after averaging close to 30 points in the first few rounds of the playoffs. However he still found ways to try to make an impact on the game which included pulling down a team high of 8 rebounds.
Lumberton HS Junior Forward Matt Locklear: Was another player that stepped in and stepped for the Pirates on Saturday. He provided double figure scoring and solid rebounding which only helped Lumberton to combat the runs that Pinecrest attempted to go on.
