The University of North Alabama commit started off the night slow but showed up when his team needed it most. His ability to control pace throughout the night gave the Generals exactly what was needed to pull out a victory. Miles lead Lee in points, rebounds, and assist.
Jamari Smith, 6’4 SF, Lee (Montgomery): The walking highlight reel is has been just that throughout the season for the Generals who have been dubbed the “The Air Show”. Holt has been lighting up 3-point lines his entire career and was simply unable to get it going on Saturday night. He got the Spartans on the board early in the game, however that would be the only scoring he could amass the rest of the contest. Colby Jones, 6’5 SG, Mountain Brook: The do-it-all Mr. Basketball candidate and Xavier University signee ended his high school career Saturday night not exactly how he expected. His stellar play over the past 2 seasons has had him ranked as the #1 player in the class of 2020 for the better part of a year. He had it going in the 1st half scoring 8 of his 12 points in the but was only able to get up a total of 4 shots in the entire 2nd half. His 15-foot attempt in the last few seconds (after Holt’s failed 3-point attempt) hit front rim ending the Spartans season and his high school career.
