Now that the season has ended, it is time to acknowledge the players who have excelled shooting the ball in 2019-2020. We will begin in the GMC where St. Thomas Aquinas took home the tournament championship.

First Team

Andrew TurcoAndrewTurcoSGMonroe | 2020StateNJ (2020) | Monroe: Turco led the conference in three-pointers made this season with 101 so this was an easy decision. This included a game against Spotswood where Turco knocked down 10 three’s on his way to 50 points. He was the clear-cut top shooter in the conference all season long.

Chris Gomez (2020) | Perth Amboy Tech: Gomez was a sharp shooter for a Perth Amboy Tech team that struggled this season. He hit 96 three’s and finished with six or more in a single game six times. Gomez was a strong spot up shooter but could also contribute off the dribble. He did not get to the free throw line much so his prowess from deep was his main option.

George Guyette (2020) | Spotswood: Spotswood has been known for their long line of marksmen in their program. Guyette is the latest one to finish a career. He knocked down 80 three’s this season and was Spotswood’s deep threat all
