First Team
Andrew Turco Andrew Turco SG Monroe | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Monroe: Turco led the conference in three-pointers made this season with 101 so this was an easy decision. This included a game against Spotswood where Turco knocked down 10 three’s on his way to 50 points. He was the clear-cut top shooter in the conference all season long.
Chris Gomez (2020) | Perth Amboy Tech: Gomez was a sharp shooter for a Perth Amboy Tech team that struggled this season. He hit 96 three’s and finished with six or more in a single game six times. Gomez was a strong spot up shooter but could also contribute off the dribble. He did not get to the free throw line much so his prowess from deep was his main option.
George Guyette (2020) | Spotswood: Spotswood has been known for their long line of marksmen in their program. Guyette is the latest one to finish a career. He knocked down 80 three’s this season and was Spotswood’s deep threat all season.
Gian Wagner (2022) | Timothy Christian: Wagner was a do-it-all player for Timothy Christian. He racked up assists as well as rebounds. This, of course, included his work from deep. Wagner led the team with 70 made three’s and was one of the leaders in the conference.
Justin Carbone Justin Carbone 6'4" | SG South Brunswick | 2020 State NJ (2020) | South Brunswick: What a year it was for Carbone. South Brunswick made a run to the GMCT final and ended up winning their state sectional title in his final season. Carbone was a huge reason scoring 27 points in a GMCT upset over No. 1 St. Joe’s Metuchen and 30 points in the state final against Marlboro. Carbone hit 65 three’s this season and was a true complete player.
