1) ISHMAEL LEGGETT | ST. JOHN’S | OVERALL RANK: #6
There was arguably no player more important to his team throughout this season than Leggett. The Rhode Island commit can do anything and everything on the court, but perhaps most importantly elevates others around him.
2) YURI COVINGTON | NATIONAL CHRISTIAN | OVERALL RANK: #19
Covington reinforced his credentials as one of the area’s biggest stock risers over the last 4-6 months. The explosive lefty, who recently committed to William & Mary, enjoyed a productive season for one of the area’s top teams.
3) COLIN SMALLS | ST. ANDREW’S | OVERALL RANK: #24
Smalls was the perfect leader for a cohesive St. Andrew’s squad. He not only led with his words but his actions as well.
4) COREY DYCHES | POTOMAC | OVERALL RANK: #38
Dyches closed out his high school career in style, earning First-Team All-Met honors after a dominant run of play. The Maryland Football commit goes down in history as one of just three players to be named first-team in two different sports during the same school year.
5) JOMO GOINGS | CHURCHILL | OVERALL RANK: #40
Everything came together for goings during his breakout senior campaign. He thrived in a high usage role, playing efficient offense while competing defensively. Goings’ best playing days are ahead of him and he will surely be a steal for some lucky college program.
6) KEYSHAWN JOHNSON | FAIRMONT HEIGHTS | OVERALL RANK: #44
Johnson is not only one of the best shooters, but one of the best scorers still available. He averaged about 25 points per game despite being the main focus of opposing defenses, and his team was able to rack up wins in the process.
7) CORY BARNES JR. | ARCHBISHOP CARROLL | OVERALL RANK: #49
Barnes is one of the best and most versatile defenders in the class. Towson is getting someone who they can stick on a big wing or a smaller ball-handler. Barnes has also gained a ton of confidence on the offensive end. He’s shooting the ball much more confidently than he has at any other point since we’ve been watching him play.
8) ANTHONY BLUNT | ST. VINCENT PALLOTTI | OVERALL RANK: #54
Blunt has developed into a very reliable guard prospect. He is capable of playing both on and off the ball, creating shots for himself and others but also playing solid defense. Given his rapid rate of improvement over the last couple of years, we expect his development to continue at the next level.
9) WADE JACKSON | ST. VINCENT PALLOTTI | OVERALL RANK: #58
Jackson has as much pure talent as any guard in the class and certainly has intriguing potential moving forward. He can shoot from virtually anywhere inside half-court but is also a plus defender and a sneaky athletic downhill-type guard who applies pressure on the rim.
10) TREMAINE CHESLEY | ST. CHARLES | OVERALL RANK: #62
Chesley is on the shortlist for best defender in the state but has made significant strides on the offensive end as well. He’s an underrated playmaker with a nice in-between game and the ability to finish consistently around the rim in traffic. Chesley’s ability to develop a consistent three-point shot will be crucial for him to reach his full potential.
