The class of 2022 has the deepest group of players I’ve seen in Texas in years. The bulk of these action-packed players are coming straight out of Dallas. DFW’s class of ’22 has every type of athlete a coach could possibly need, from true low post big men to 3 point specialist, to scoring machines. So many sophomores played so well this season that I couldn’t narrow it down to just five.

Arterio is the breakout star of the year, he was even awarded Dallas’s Newcomer of the Year award. This guy is the whole package, he averaged 22.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 3.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per game this season, and made it look easy doing it. Morris didn’t just fill the stat sheet, everything he brought to the table made his teammates better. He has a knack for crashing the boards and getting the fastbreak started and even finishing it.
