What ten Class AA sophomores both proved to be talented as day to day players and future prospects? Prep Hoops gives you the answers today.

 

Jacob Butler (6’2 SG) & De’Meiko Anderson (5’11 PG) of Minneapolis North. It’s tough to fill this entire article with Polars but that’s the level of players they have in the sophomore class. North played a difficult schedule and the sophomores played a big part in the depth with Butler and Anderson each scoring 8-9 a game.

Hayden Jones of St. James (6’4 SF). The Saints had a rough year but Jones was a 20 point per game level scorer with nearly 20 a game for his team (18 a contest average). Had a 28 point game beating Windom.

Eli KingEliKing6'3" | SGCaledonia | 2022State#159NationMN of Caledonia (6’3 CG).  King is a combo guard who has the toughness of his brother Noah, the frame (although bigger) of his brother Owen, and the athletic ability of a player rarely ever seen in southern Minnesota. People are captivated by King’s highlight finishes but I love his ability to beat anybody off the bounce in space for the 28-1, top ranked Warriors.
