TJ Chiabotto of North Woods (5’10 PG). They beauty of Chiabotto isn’t the 21 points a game for a 23-win team (that was about to play for state once again), it’s that Chiabotto scored 21 a game while spreading the opportunity around making sure all the Grizzly pieces were attacking in good spots.
Leroy Fairbanks IV of Cass Lake-Bena (6’3 SF). The Panthers were about to play for state before the season was ended early. It was a balanced team mixing veterans and youth. Fairbanks was one of the young players playing a big part scoring 4-5 baskets a contest.
Ja’Sean Glover of Madelia (6’2 SG). Glover scored over half of his team’s 62 points a game this season averaging 32 points a contest as a nearly unstoppable attacking guard. One of the most fluid players in the class and a guy we can’t wait to see on the summer scene to see how he matches up.
Adam Heckman of TML-GHEC (6’6 C). The seven acronym Jaguars won 19 games this year led by the big man in the post who shot 61 percent from the field averaging 18.6 points, 9.5 boards, and 2.4 blocks a game. Adam has range too hitting 40 percent of his triples.
Eddie Kramer Eddie Kramer 6'0" | SG Nevis | 2020 State MN of Nevis (6’0 SG). Kramer is one of the most dangerous shooters in Class A basketball. A 45 percent threat at the arc that led his team scoring 21 points a game. Nevis went 24-4 this year and was about to play for state, and the quality team play led to daily daggers from Kramer.
Teigan Martin Teigan Martin 6'7" | PF Mayer Lutheran | 2022 MN of Mayer Lutheran (6’8 PF). The top prospect on this list Martin has the developing tools to be a scholarship talent. The size is there as are the developing skills and agility. Martin is an aggressive finisher scoring 19 a game who has really improved his mid-range jumper and his one-dribble attack face-up game.
Ty Morrison of Deer River (6’3 PG). Morrison is tenacious as a defender and aggressive a playmaker. An excellent passer in a big point guard body that scores 19 a game but seems to enjoy finding the open man even more.
Case Mulder of Central Minnesota Christian (5’10 PG). CMC battled to the section title game this year with a 24-5 record and the play of point guard Case Mulder led the way. A 17 point, 7 assist a game young guard that opened up the floor.
Micah Schaap of Southwest Minnesota Christian (6’1 SG). Schaap is a quality supporting piece on a team that didn’t lose a game this year making the state tournament. Micah blended in perfectly with a veteran squad scoring 11 a game.
Matt Thompson of Hancock (6’6 C). Matt exploded onto the athletic scene his sophomore year. Growing into a 6-foot-6, long and agile frame, Thompson played wideout for the football team and then jumped on the court and averaged 18 points and 13 boards for a 20 win team.
