Caden Grinde Caden Grinde 6'3" | SG Spring Grove | 2021 State MN of Spring Grove (6’4 SG). The number one thing we hear about Caden is the passion he has for competition. Few will outwork him but many love to play with him. Grinde scored 16-17 a game this year and is a top defender in his area.
Jacob Hennen Jacob Hennen 6'3" | SG Minneota | 2021 State MN of Minneota (6’3 SG). Jacob did not play his junior season so we are uncertain of where he’s at but at the same time we know he averaged 15 a game as a sophomore on a top Class A team. We also know that the effort to make himself better has not stopped.
Ben Holden Ben Holden 6'6" | PF Cleveland | 2021 State MN of Cleveland (6’5 PF). Holden averaged 20 a game at times carrying his team with double double numbers. A 1,000 point scorer already led by one of the best mid-range jumpers you will find.
Delwyn Holthusen Delwyn Holthusen 6'6" | PF Red Lake | 2021 State MN of Red Lake (6’4 PF). Delwyn is an undersized post that has dominated things on the inside for Red Lake all year. Averaged 25 points a game scoring with putbacks, pow post baskets, transition runs, and physical attacks.
Zach Jackson Zach Jackson 6'4" | SF Lester Prairie | 2021 State MN of Lester Prairie (6’3 SF). Jackson is one of the most versatile players on this list. Led LP to 16 wins as the leading scorer, a top rebounder, the team’s best passer, and smart defender. Improved greatly as a shooter and Zach is very efficient.
Colt Landers Colt Landers 6'5" | SF Grand Meadow | 2021 State MN of Grand Meadow (6’4 SF). An all around constant worker. Colt is the guy in the gym working on his range and post moves before others get out of bed. He’s the guy doing dirty work so others follow his lead. Averaged 21 a game for a 21 win team.
[player_tooltip player_id="774748" first="Broden" last="Lien"]Broden Lien Broden Lien 6'8" | PF ISA | 2021 MN of NCE/U-H (6’8 PF). A top ten prospect in the state and the top Class A prospect overall, Lien led his team to 19 wins this season. Lien went to work with 26 points and 13 rebounds a game this year showing off of his explosive finishing ability in an aggressive, physical way. Add in the face up game and you have a player division one schools will watch closely.
Drew Sagedahl Drew Sagedahl 6'0" | SG Bold | 2021 State MN of BOLD (6’0 SG). Sagedahl’s growth in the past 12 months has been quite a bit amazing. I still remember watching him as a bout a 5’8 shooter and now he’s an explosive attacker at six feet who is also one of the best shooters in the state. Scored 22 a game this winter.
Ethan Slaathaug of Hayfield (6’2 PG). Slaathaug is the definition of a combo guard prospect that can create, and score in many ways. Slaathaug didn’t have the same shooting year at the arc but his mid-range touch and attack ability netted him 23 a game for a top ten team that went 24-6.
Shane Stevenson Shane Stevenson 6'6" | PF Nicollet | 2021 State MN of Nicollet (6’6 PF). Stevenson has grown physically and his game has taken steps in the right direction. Stevenson is long, agile, and has range on his face-up touch. Schools that have faced Nicollet also talked about the improvement of Stevenson defensively.
Jake Wald Jake Wald 5'11" | PG Legacy Christian Academy | 2021 State MN of Legacy Christian (5’10 PG). Wald led Legacy Christian to a 24-4 season improving as a creator while also scoring 18 a game. Wald sacrificed his own offense to create for others while also showing off that touch from the arc.
