Zach Anderson of Martin County West (SF 6’3). The Mavs were a veteran team that won 19 games and Anderson was a key piece on a nightly basis. He scored just under ten a game and will be the top weapon for MCW the next three years.
Jordan Brown of Fond du Lac Ojibwe (PG 5’11). In most years Jordan and his 26 points a game would of been the top freshman scorer in Class A basketball. Brown went at Chisholm and Red Lake for 40 plus games this winter and scored over 30 in a third of the games.
Lawson Godfrey of Mankato Loyola (SG 6’1). Loyola improved by 3-4 games this year and a key ingredient was the depth that their young wing provided as a third option. Lawson scored a dozen a game.
Desmond Hardimon of Hope Academy (PG 5’10). A playmaking point guard that gave Hope Academy a second scoring option averaging 11 a game. Hardimon has the potential to be their playmaker of the future.
Austin Josephson of South Ridge (C 6’6). Austin carved a role for himself in a senior dominated line-up scoring a dozen points a game while leading the team in boards. Austin followed up a really nice year with the Playmakers with a strong winter.
Buay Koak of Lyle-Austin Pacelli (SG 6’3). Buay is being compared to the Gach brothers in agility, length, movement up the floor, and in size. We aren’t saying he will be at Utah like Both Gach but in two years as a starter Buay has averaged 8 points as an 8th grader and 14 a game as a frosh.
Isaac Matti of Hayfield (SG 6’1). The Vikings were one of the top Class A teams in the state this year and they continue to develop depth. Matti was a top 3-4 guy for the team all year scoring eight points a game.
Kaden Pieper of BBE (5’10 PG). BBE is going with a youth movement and at times they were too young going .500 on the year. However, a big surprise was Pieper being even better than expected scoring 14 a game in wing shooting role.
Sam Senske of Park Christian (SG 6’0). The Falcons are in turnaround right now and leading the way is Sam Senske, a young and talented guard. Sam put up double figures and he continues to grow rapidly.
Asher Zubich of Mountain Iron-Buhl (SG 6’1). Asher was the top scorer in Class A basketball this year putting 32 points through the net on a nightly basis. It’s not just the 30 spots on a regular basis, it’s that Asher is a 44/45 percent three point shooter for both of his varsity seasons and he still hasn’t even started drivers training.
