The Kansas High School Activities Association announced on Thursday the remaining state tournament games will not be played.
Sam Fisher, 5’10, G, 2020, Skyline
The brother of Steve Fisher and also a productive player on both ends of the floor. Fisher is a good defender who can make plays on the perimeter. He looks to attack the basket when he has the ball and is a good passer and is a capable scorer in a variety of ways. He had a productive game with 11 points and showed consistency, a strong IQ in a hard-nosed mentality overall.
Steve Fisher, 5’8, G, 2020, Skyline
Fisher is a strong ball handler who looked to attack with his dribble and create opportunities. He led his team in scoring with 12 points and has great vision and is good at shooting quickly and getting to spots where he can get off shots before defenses have a chance to collapse on the ball.
Joao Carlos Ramirez, 6’7, F, 2022, Bishop Seabury
A nice player with elite height and good feel for the paint. He has a nice skill-set for a player inside and has good vision and is a good passer and shot blocker. Ramirez is a player who can score and rebound on both ends of the floor. Ramirez put together a big offseason last year competing for Run GMC and picked up a Division I offer from Denver.
Jackson O’Toole, 6’0, G, 2021, Valley Center
A solid player who can contribute on both ends of the floor. He has a nice feel for the position and can hit shots from 3-point range when nothing else is happening. He hit an impressive four 3-pointers in the game and scored a team high 14 points. He also led his team in assists and showed great leadership and understanding.
Arden Rex, 6’4, G/F, 2020, Garden Plain
A nice player on both ends of the floor given his size and playmaking ability with the ball. He is a good rebounder and looks to finish plays and knock down open shots but is a strong hustle player who does things when no one is watching. He has a game that works with any teammate and he is good at setting screens and rolling to the basket and making plays. Rex was second in scoring for 11 points.
