Mike Martin 6’0 PF Spring Valley 2020 – Martin is an anomaly in nearly every way. His production on the floor clearly dictates that he should have been somewhere in the rankings. He is also an undersized 4 man that absolutely dominates in the paint. Combine those traits with his leadership and effort and he is one of the top unranked players in the state for sure.
Seth Bozzi 6’5 PF Mineral County 2020 – Bozzi gets forgotten about because he plays for a small school The rangy athlete is a high-level player at the 1A level that has helped his team to back to back titles. He can protect the rim and was the states leading rebounder last season.
Trey Stevens 6’1 SG Reed 2020 (featued image) – Stevens is a perfect example of a talented unranked player. The combo guard played well enough to earn a full scholarship to NAIA D1 Menlo College. He is good at creating off the bounce and can shoot it both from distance and midrange.
Jesus Gonzales 6’1 SG West Wendover 2020 – Gonzales is a deadly sniper who moves well without the ball. He was the leading scorer for the 2A state champs this season.
Avery Strasdin 6’2 SG Churchill County 2021 – Strasdin passes the eye test. He’s a long lean athlete with a versatile skill set. It’s not uncommon to see the 6’2 wing play the 1, 2, and 3 over the course of a game. One of those guys that’s good at everything, but not great at any one particular skill.
