Well now is as good of a time as any to give you some more names of prospects that stood out and names you will want to remember for the future.
Holly Shelter 2024 Guard Josh Helms: Has a natural feel for the game , and showed some flashes of how good he can be. He has a smooth shooting stroke, understands how to get to his spots and doesn’t allow himself to be sped up.
First Flight 2025 Guard Mason Dobie: All you need to do is take a look at where he’s from to know how he plays the game. He was one of the better shooters in the camp, knocking down some treys and showing he has range at a young age.
South View 2024 Wing Ari Fulton: One of the top 3 players at camp, he was dominate just about all day long, showing his potential to be special. He already has good size , wingspan and athletic ability that helps him to make plays.
West Hoke 2024 Guard Jaylen Sturdivant: First and foremost we know he’s a winner after seeing him during Middle School ball, as well as with his AAU team Sandhills Machine. During this event we saw some of his three point shooting ability as well as him working on the board on both ends.
Martin Millenium 2024 Wing Omar Lewis: As the day went on he got better and made plays for his team. Running the floor, rebounding, blocking shots, defending multiple postions and even knocking down some perimeter shots in crunch time were all things we saw from him.
Brewster MS 2024 Guard Derrick Benbow: Another one of the players that folks in the Jacksonville area should be excited about. He didn’t waste much time getting going as he was very effective in the first game of the day and would earn his way into the All-Star game with solid play in Game 2 as well.
