With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2022 Shooting Guards in Connor Essegian Connor Essegian 6'4" | SG Central Noble | 2022 State #170 Nation IN , Julian Norris Julian Norris 6'3" | SG Evansville Bosse | 2022 MO , and Paul Stubblefield Paul Stubblefield 6'3" | SG Brebeuf Jesuit | 2022 State IN .

– 6’2 SG 2022 – Central Noble (IN)
Stats: 24.0 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 40% 3PT
Thoughts: Connor is a solid scoring guard with a lot of ways to impact the game. Real athletic and has a great vertical. Solid shooter that is really good at creating his own shot whether that be a jumper or in the post area. Has a motor on him and plays with a ton of energy. He really asserts himself in the offense and does not settle or wait for big plays to come to him. 24.0 ppg is a great stat and it will be interesting to see if he can keep repeating that amount of scoring.

– 6’3 SG 2022 – Evansville Bosse (IN)
Stats: 12.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.8 apg
Thoughts: Julian is a solid-built guard who has a smooth jumper and tons of athletic ability. Runs the floor pretty well and is tough to stop once he gets going in transition. He’s best as a shooter off the catch but uses the pull-up at times. Looks as though he would rather drive or pull-up inside than just camp out on the wing. Still might be a tad raw and may need to fine tune his offense some more. Getting stronger would be huge for Norris to go along with his speed. Norris has all the opportunity to take that next step.

– 6’2 SG 2022 – Brebeuf Jesuit (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Stubblefield is a tall, skinny guard that overall has a good offensive package. Great handles and passes the ball really well. Pretty patient with ball as well as he does not force anything wild. Has a pretty good jumper but does better when he drives and uses his nice floater a lot. Has a good amount of length and nice frame but will need to get some more muscle on his bones. Lot of potential in this young guard and should be one of the best in the state by his senior year.
