With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2022 Point Guards in Jackson Ullom Jackson Ullom 5'11" | PG Monroe Central | 2022 State IN , Jonah Lucas Jonah Lucas 6'0" | PG Lafayette Harrison | 2022 State IN , and Randy Kelley Randy Kelley 6'0" | PG Sullivan | 2022 State IN .

– 5’10 PG 2022 – Monroe Central (IN)
Stats: 15.6ppg, 4.1apg
Thoughts: Ullom is a small guard with a capable jumper and some handles. Loves to pull it from 12 to 15ft. Ullom was a big part of Monroe Central finishing above .500 this year 13-11 before they lost in Sectional to Winchester. Next year he should be one of, if not, their best player. Has a good balance of playing iso ball and getting the ball to his teammates. His passes are extremely on point. His size could play a factor in the future but if he keeps improving and getting stronger, he should not have a problem getting some college looks. Averaging nearly 16 ppg helps a lot as well.

Lafayette Harrison | 2022

– 5’11 PG 2022 – Lafayette Harrison (IN)
Stats: 8.9 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.6 apg
Thoughts: Lucas is a solid scorer on the perimeter but also is great on the boards for being a PG. He is a slightly built lead guard who looks to have gotten taller and bigger since this time last year. His pull-up jumper is pretty solid. He averaged around 9.0 ppg last year and that number should hit the double-digits in his junior season. One of the more underrated parts of his game is balls handles as he has a lit bit of “shiftiness” to them. Even though he does not play like a typical PG, it would be nice for him to get his assist numbers up a little bit. Needs to continue to add some more muscle this summer. Lucas could have a breakout year coming up.

Sullivan | 2022
State
IN
– 5’10 PG 2022 – Sullivan (IN)
Stats: 13.4 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 4.5 apg
Thoughts: Kelley is a smaller guard with handles and creation ability off the bounce. Has good lateral quickness and he can side-step and move around defenders easily in the lane. Does not really look to shoot too often as he looks to always drive the right lane as much as he can. With averaging 13.4 ppg, mostly all of his buckets come from around the paint, which is really impressive for a guard. One of the more aggressive PGs in the state. Has a chance to grow a bit more and if he can do that he is going to be even more tough to stop. Kelley is filled with potential, just needs to continue to put their pieces together.
