With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Shooting Guards in Michael Eley Michael Eley 6'4" | SG Elevation Prep | 2021 State IN , Will Shank Will Shank 6'3" | SG Fort Wayne Canterbury | 2021 State IN , and Dominic Redding Dominic Redding 6'1" | SG Evansville North | 2021 State IN .

Elevation Prep | 2021
State
IN
– 6’4 SG 2021 – Fort Wayne Snider (IN)
Stats: 21.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.8 spg
Thoughts: Eley is a great wing with tons of length and athleticism and skill. He’s really skilled with a pretty solid jumper and ball handling ability that makes him tough to stick with. He’s very adept at creating space, and he can jab step and dribble to get open very well. He can struggle to shoot the ball at times, but he can also light it up when he gets hot. He is best utilized when taking the ball to the rack and using his size and athleticism to make plays. He could easily become an elite scorer on the wing with some work this summer. Watch for this kid next season to keep Snider near the top of the rankings.

– 6’3 SG 2021 – Fort Wayne Canterbury (IN)
Stats: 16.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 3.6 apg, 39% 3pt
Thoughts: Will is a growing guard prospect with a big body and toughness. Showed most of that toughness going at the rim. Strong and can finish with either hand when needed. He’s a high-end shooter but with the added size, more likely that he can be an effective off guard. Could still play the point but something to watch over the next year or so. When locked in, he can put up points in a hurry. The frame should help long term as he develops with his driving game and takes on contact more. Good upside and continuing to grow each time.
Dominic Redding

Redding

Evansville North | 2021
State
IN
– 6’1 SG 2021 – Evansville North (IN)
Stats: 7.0 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 1.7 apg
Thoughts: Redding is a long, rangy guard with some scoring ability. He can be active at times, but I believe he still has more to showcase. He is very athletic, and with his length, he could end up as an impact defender at the next level. His jumper looked very clean and repeatable, and with a little more work, he could be a top tier player for Evansville North next season.
