The HS season is over and we are diving into the individual player rankings for the freshman. We start with the point guards.

There will probably be a lot of movement from now until the next HS season since many will train, play in big events, possibly get more exposure than their smaller schools to fully be evaluated versus some of the best in the West.

Here we go:

1. Mark Brown JrMarkBrown Jr5'10" | PGMountain Pointe | 2023State#148NationAZ (Mountain Pointe)

-A big time shot maker who has speed with the ball. Makes plays for his teammates as well.

2. Jason Fontenet JrJasonFontenet Jr6'3" | PGSt Mary's | 2023StateAZ (St. Mary’s)

-A bigger guard who has great lineage and talent. His pull-up is becoming a weapon as is his defense.

3. Kota BensonKotaBenson5'11" | PGBaboquivari | 2023StateAZ (Baboquivari)

-The least known player on the list has a lot to like. The lefty can sling it from deep plus set the table. He carried his team to the Final-4 as he was given the ball since day-1 on varsity.

4. Isaac KapsIsaacKaps6'0" | PGHighland | 2023StateAZ (Highland)

-An athletic defensive minded lead guard can get downhill.

5. Matthew Henry-HarrisonMatthewHenry-Harrison5'10" | CGParadise Honors | 2023StateAZ (Buckeye)

-A scoring lead guard that is starting to find that happy
