2022 Rankings Update: Biggest Risers
The class of 2022 player rankings are set to be updated in the coming days. Here’s a look at the prospects who made the biggest jumps after strong sophomore campaigns…
No. 10 Jackson Paveletzke Jackson Paveletzke 6'1" | CG Kimberly | 2022 State WI – Kimberly
Previous Ranking: 22
Paveletzke contributed 13.1 points and 4.1 assists per game for the Fox Valley Association champs, a team loaded with college prospects. A skilled and smooth scorer, Paveletzke is one of the best shot creators in the state. Paveletzke (6-1) is a little undersized, but has plus-length and outstanding skills on the ball. A threat to score anywhere on the floor, Paveletzke has the makings of a potential strong mid-major prospect.
No. 22 Learic Davis Learic Davis 6'7" | SF Milwaukee Bradley Tech | 2022 State WI – Milwaukee Bradley Tech
Previous Ranking: NR
A high-upside, budding wing prospect, Davis averaged 14.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore. At 6-foot-7 is a terrific transition threat and shows plenty of flashes in the half court. Still very raw physically and skills-wise, Davis has top 15 potential in this class.
No. 34 Bradley Bell Bradley Bell 6'6" | PF Westosha Central | 2022 WI – Westosha Central
Previous Ranking: No. 46
Bell averaged just shy of six points per game last season, but I like the trajectory that he’s on. The 6-foot-7 forward is a lanky prospect who moves well for his size and can shoot the rock. Bell has the potential to be a dangerous shooter in the pick n’ pop game
No. 35 Greg Galloway Greg Galloway 6'2" | SF Oconomowoc | 2022 State WI – Oconomowoc
Previous Ranking: 41
This is a potential breakout player next season. Galloway averaged close to nine points per game behind two college prospects for Oconomowoc. The 6-foot-3 sophomore is versatile and does a little bit of everything on the floor. A strong guard/wing, Galloway can handle the point and create mismatch problems on the perimeter.
No. 36 Kenny Garth Kenny Garth 6'2" | CG Westosha Central | 2022 State WI – Westosha Central
Previous Ranking: NR
Look for Garth to keep moving up this list. Garth averaged 12 points and three assists per game last season and showed takeover ability on the offensive end. The 6-foot-2 combo guard can score from all three levels and has a deadly pull-up game.
No. 37 Juok Riak Juok Riak 6'5" | PF Madison Lafollette | 2022 State WI – Madison La Follette
Previous Ranking: NR
Riak played on a very senior-laden team, but has the physical attributes a lot of teams will covet. A lengthy and athletic 6-foot-7 forward, Riak is just scratching the surface of his potential. Riak made his mark for the Lancers as a rebounder and rim protector off the bench. It’ll be interesting to see what he’s capable of when that roster clears out for him.
No. 59 Colin Terpstra Colin Terpstra 6'4" | SF East Troy | 2022 State WI – East Troy
Previous Ranking: NR
Another prospect that came off the bench, but could be poised for a breakout 2020-21 season, Terpstra has plenty of offensive capability. Terpstra (6-3) has really good size and is a knockdown perimeter shooter. Terpstra needs to improve his athleticism and movement without the basketball, when he gets possession, the sophomore wing is a natural scorer.
