24. 6-7 SF Kaleb Banks Kaleb Banks 6'8" | SF Fayette County | 2022 State #98 Nation GA – Spalding
The Co-Region 2-4A Player of the Year made a splash his sophomore season and now debuts at No. 24. Banks piled in 20.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. Banks’ length, athleticism and energy help him impact the game. Expect eyes to be on him this offseason with the Atlanta Celtics.
36. 6-7 SF D’ante Bass D’ante Bass 6'7" | SF Windsor Forest | 2022 State GA – Windsor Forest
Much like Banks, D’ante Bass D’ante Bass 6'7" | SF Windsor Forest | 2022 State GA is another long and athletic wing that oozes with raw potential. Bass provides toughness on the boards and is a solid rim protector. He put up 13.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.9 blocks per game. Improving his outside shot will help expand his game.
56. 6-1 CG Eric Howard Eric Howard 6'1" | PG South Cobb | 2022 State GA – Marietta
A tough combo-guard that was asked to be his team’s go-to guy on offense after a late offseason transfer of their expected starting point guard, Eric Howard Eric Howard 6'1" | PG South Cobb | 2022 State GA was up to the task. Howard provides activity on both ends of the floor. He’s a good rebounder for his size and on offense, does most of his damage attacking the basket. He averaged 13.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.1 steals.
71. 6-3 SG AJ Flagg AJ Flagg 6'3" | SG ELCA | 2022 State GA – ELCA
Blessed with athleticism and a strong body, AJ Flagg AJ Flagg 6'3" | SG ELCA | 2022 State GA is a good looking off-guard that made big strides in his first season seeing major varsity minutes. He averaged 12 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.5 blocks. Flagg does a good job getting to the basket and using his strength to finish around the rim. While slashing may be his best skill set currently, his three-point shot has continued to improve and is a viable weapon. Flagg provides toughness and versatility to the backcourt and is a solid defender. Keep an eye on his progress. He should continue his ascent up the rankings.
74. 5-10 CG Tate Gilley Tate Gilley 5'10" | CG Wesleyan | 2022 State GA – Wesleyan
Tate Gilley Tate Gilley 5'10" | CG Wesleyan | 2022 State GA worked his way into the rankings and earned this spot. Gilley won’t wow anyone with his size or athleticism, but he will wow you with his toughness and work ethic. Gilley came out of nowhere to become Wesleyan’s second-leading scorer at 11.7 points. He also pulled down 4.2 rebounds per contest. Gilley is never shy when it comes to competing. He does a good job at getting downhill and putting pressure on defenses. Gilley can finish in traffic but also can knock down threes to stretch defenses.
78. 6-5 F Izaiyah Nelson Izaiyah Nelson 6'8" | PF Marietta | 2022 State GA – Marietta
Plenty of upside. That is what Izaiyah Nelson Izaiyah Nelson 6'8" | PF Marietta | 2022 State GA has. He is still maturing and going through some growing pains, but once he becomes a finished product, he could be one of the more dynamic forwards the state has to offer. Nelson is a very good rim protector, able to swat away shots with his long arms. He is a quality rebounder as well. Nelson averaged 7.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks. On offense, Nelson shows flashes of a variety of skills. He can start his own fast break after grabbing rebounds and handles the ball fairly well when he doesn’t try to do too much. He can attack from the wing and is a good garbage man inside. Nelson has shown that he can hit the trail and corner three. Getting more reps and more confidence will be key in his development.
84. 6-4 W Trey Harris Trey Harris 6'4" | SF North Paulding | 2022 State GA – North Paulding
A smooth wing, Trey Harris Trey Harris 6'4" | SF North Paulding | 2022 State GA is a fundamentally sound rising junior that will only get better. Harris has a good mid-range jumper and distance out to the three-point line. He has enough skill to have the green light to hunt his own offense more but never tries to force the issue and plays within the system. Creating offense off the dribble and getting to the basket more often will help round out his already polished offensive arsenal.
93. 6-3 SF Sebastian Tidor Sebastian Tidor 6'5" | SF East Paulding | 2022 State GA – East Paulding
Sebastian Tidor Sebastian Tidor 6'5" | SF East Paulding | 2022 State GA is a glue-guy that does a little bit of everything. While he may not excel at one particular skill, he’s the type of player that will stick his nose into as many plays as possible to help his team win games. Sebastian averaged 12.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.3 steals. Tidor is a slasher and garbage-guy on offense. He stays active on the boards and draws a lot of attention. His three-point shot still needs work, as does his ball-handling and ability to play fast. Defensively is where he can really shine. His length and anticipation help him deflect passes and harass ball handlers. Tidor will be asked to increase his scoring output tenfold as he and Kristian Ford Kristian Ford 6'5" | SG East Paulding | 2021 State GA return as East Paulding’s only two scoring options.
