Lots of movement took place with players moving up and down as many players saw their stock rise over the last 5 months. There has also been movement in the top 5, which is absolutely loaded with future HM and potential professional players.
Updated Top 5:
1: 6’10 PF Paolo Banchero Paolo Banchero 6'10" | PF O'Dea | 2021 State #3 Nation WA (O’Dea HS) – Absolutely no surprise here. The premier recruit in the state regardless of class and one of the top 4 juniors in the entire country. Paolo has improved his game off the bounce in the past six months and has only gotten stronger and more explosive. The total package forward prospect.
2: 6’2 PG Nolan Hickman Nolan Hickman 6'2" | PG Eastside Catholic | 2021 #29 Nation UT (Eastside Catholic HS) – The biggest stock riser in the last year. Nolan has risen higher and higher in every national rankings database. His ball handling, court vision and composure on the court as a junior is far advanced. Nolan was once ranked as the number five prospect in the state years ago, but he he has now risen to number two. *Feature image
3: 6’9 PF Jackson Grant Jackson Grant 6'10" | PF Olympia | 2021 State #78 Nation WA (Olympia HS) – The Washington commit maintains his number three ranking for the class. Jackson is skilled, long and has above average mobility. I love his ability to step out and knock down the three ball and as he continues to add strength, it will take his game to another level.
4: 6’9 C Kaden Perry Kaden Perry 6'10" | C Battle Ground | 2021 State #16 Nation WA (Battle Ground HS) – Kaden committed to Gonzaga this last summer and has given his usual eye popping production throughout the high school season. The future Bulldog is a monster on the glass, a threat in transition for lobs and a great shot blocker. His motor and athleticism is there. Gonzaga will be a great program for him to continue to develop other aspects of his game as well.
5: 6’5 SF Shane Nowell Shane Nowell 6'6" | SG Eastside Catholic | 2021 State #85 Nation WA (Eastside Catholic HS) – A well known name throughout the state, Shane has added an element to his game in the last year, which has been great to see. The midrange game is alive and well for the lefty and his jumper has really improved over time. Although his national ranking has dipped outside of the top 100 by most services, Shane is a clear cut HM prospect and will have his choice of colleges whenever he wants to make a decision.
