No. 59 – Aaron Jones Aaron Jones 6'7" | PF Evangelical Christian | 2021 State FL really grew up before our eyes this past season. The 6’7″ forward has matured his inside presence, become more aggressive and been solid as can be from the mid-range. Jones averaged 17.9 PPG and 7.9 RPG, while reaching double digits in all but four games and posting 11 outings with 20 plus points (season high of 34 points). He is always looking to improve and listens to his coaches well. As Jones continues to get stronger, the sky is the limit for his game this summer.
No. 60 – Ryker Vance Ryker Vance 6'6" | PF Community School of Naples | 2021 State FL (pictured above) has taken the step forward in a very similar fashion to Jones. At 6’6″, the Community School of Naples standout reached double digits in all 30 games and helped his squad reach the Class 3A state semifinal. Adding 10 games with 20 plus points, Vance had a season-best 33 points along with 11 rebounds against Gateway Charter. On the season, he averaged 17.6 PPG, 8.8 RPG and 5.0 RPG. Becoming more confident offensively with his long arms and upper body strength, Vance is a true two-way player due to his impressive shot blocking and rebounding abilities.
No. 69 – Frankie Idlett Frankie Idlett 6'0" | CG Gulliver Prep | 2021 State FL is a player who should likely be higher in the rankings due to his incredible floor general awareness. When he needs to put his head down and attack, the 6’0″ guard can do just that (video here from the Prep Hoops Sun Bash Miami). Averaging 15.0 PPG and 5.0 APG, he simply makes everything easier for his team. They play in a lot of sets and Idlett can do plenty as a deep ball shooter, attacker and high IQ passer. He currently holds offers from UMass, Holy Cross and Northern Arizona.
No. 73 – Atraiel Washington came down from Georgia and immediately gave The Rock a truly intimidating presence. The 6’9″ big man is a load to stop from getting a rebound or a putback and his shot blocking ability makes him a true asset inside. Washington isn’t slow and can handle the ball when needed. I can see Washington excelling once we get AAU ball back underway and college coaches will love more than the fact that he passes the eye test in warmups and pregame.
No. 74 – Justin Hicks Justin Hicks 6'3" | CG Bishop Snyder | 2021 State FL made the switch from Bishop Snyder to West Nassau and he immediately slid in as a reliable No. 2 option alongside our 3rd ranked 2021 prospect Deebo Coleman Deebo Coleman 6'6" | SG West Nassau | 2021 State #49 Nation FL . Hicks is a very well rounded 6’2″ athlete who is not skinny by any means and isn’t shy when going to the rack. He averaged 13.7 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 4.0 APG this season. Hicks scored 10 or more points in all but four games. His summer is going to be a breakout one.
No. 87 – Caleb Muller Caleb Muller 6'5" | SG Westminster | 2021 FL hit the most 3’s by any junior in the entire state of Florida with 111. The 6’5″ shooting guard really helped Westminster this season as the new-look squad was filled with younger talent after three straight state titles. The Lions fell short of a state tournament trip to Lakeland, but more often than not, Muller was playing his part but hitting open 3’s and creating shots for himself. He’s going to be a true x-factor this summer and in his senior campaign with his stretch shooting.
No. 107 – Abedola Adebayo Abedola Adebayo 6'8" | SF Fort Myers Canterbury | 2021 State FL returned from a fractured tibia this past summer and really gelled once he got back into it. Averaging 8.2 PPG and 5.0 RPG, there is still plenty of work for him to do and being fully healthy will certainly play a role in that. Transferring to Canterbury from East Lee County, Adebayo is still a raw talent packed with upside. He’s a long and lean body who serves a true mismatch on both ends of the floor. Adebayo has drawn interest from Mount St. Mary so far and will get more looks when AAU returns.
No. 135 – Ezra McKenna Ezra McKenna 6'6" | SF Choctaw | 2021 State FL serves as the quarterback for the Choctaw football and on the basketball court, he can flat out go. At 6’6″, he had some very nice stretches during the season including seven straight games with 12 or more points, spanning from Dec. 28-Jan. 9. At the Prep Hoops Sun Bash Tampa in January, he averaged 15.3 PPG and shot 57 percent from deep. On the year, McKenna averaged 9.9 PPG and 4.3 RPG. His length and shooting help him plenty.
