William Wilson William Wilson 6'3" | SF South County | 2020 State VA | 6’3” WG | South County (#94 Overall)
Wilson broke out as a big time player in the NOVA area this year and played so well he was named the Class 6 Region C player of the year on the way to helping South County to a state championship. He’s a big and strong wing that plays hard on both ends, thrives in transition and can use his size and strength to score among the trees when he gets downhill.
Donnell Langford Donnell Langford 6'1" | SG Norcom | 2020 State VA | 6’1” G | Norcom (#102 Overall)
Langford has been the go-to guy for Norcom over the past couple of seasons and he’s a big time scorer that brings it against the best of the best. He’s a guy who can play on or off the basketball, he can score off the bounce from all three levels and he plays his best down the stretch in close games.
Dean Lockley Dean Lockley 6'1" | CG Tandem Friends | 2020 State VA | 6’1 G | Tandem Friends (#104 Overall)
Lockley is one of the most under the radar guys in the Charlottesville area as he’s a guy who can use his athleticism on both ends to make a lot of plays. He’s a quick guard who can get by guys off the bounce, he gets downhill and finishes well around the basket and he can shoot the pull-up well from 18 feet and in.
Shamarr Yates Shamarr Yates 6'2" | SG First Colonial | 2020 State VA | 6’2” WG | First Colonial (#119 Overall)
Yates is one of the most underrated scorers and players in the Beach District as he’s been a guy that’s put up big numbers over the past few years. He’s an old school kind of guy who plays with great energy on both ends of the floor, he scores it extremely well from the midrange and he uses his strength on both ends to bully smaller guards.
Lynquel Dickinson-Glover Lynquel Dickinson-Glover 6'1" | SG Churchland | 2020 State VA | 6’1” WG | Churchland (#129 Overall)
An athletic two guard that can score in bunches and play above the rim, Dickinson-Glover had multiple big games from a scoring perspective and is an absolute steal for small schools at the next level. He plays on both ends of the floor and while he’s a streaky scorer he can fill it up in bunches when he gets it going.
Daniel Mbangue Daniel Mbangue 6'4" | SF State VA | 6’4” WF | Fairfax (#132 Overall)
A do it all type of wing, Mbangue was the glue guy for a very good Fairfax team that beat some very good teams all over the state. He’s a versatile guy that can play and guard multiple positions, he uses his size to play in the post but can step out and make shots and put it on the deck and he’ll do all of the little things for his team as well.
Josh Abtew Josh Abtew 5'11" | CG Fairfax | 2020 State VA | 6’0′ CG | Fairfax (#136 Overall)
The floor general for the same Fairfax team, Abtew had a great year playing the point for them and was one of the top shooters in the Northern VA area as well. He’s a guy who has deep range both off the catch and off the bounce, he’s very confident in his shot from deep and once he gets it going he’s able to attack closeouts and create for his teammates too.
Alex Blanchard Alex Blanchard 6'2" | CG Salem | 2020 State VA | 6’2” G | Salem (#148 Overall)
Blanchard was one of the breakout guys in the Roanoke area this year, as he was the primary ball handler and playmaker for a Salem team that surprised many this year. He’s a big guard that can get downhill and plays well in transition, he can score from multiple levels and he plays with a great motor on both ends as well.
Ethan Powers Ethan Powers 6'2" | SG Eastside | 2020 State VA | 6’2” G | Eastside (#149 Overall)
A hidden gem in the southwest corner of VA, Powers has been the go-to option for a good Eastside program over the past two years. He’s a big guard who plays with a nonstop motor, he moves well without the basketball and he can make shots on kick outs and coming off of screens as well.
