Another WCAC tournament has come and gone after DeMatha took home the Championship last night. This weekend I got to see eight teams square off in an elimination setting. Below are five underclassmen prospects that stood out in the tournament.

2023 6’0 Mason So | Bishop O'Connell

The future of the guard play at Bishop O’Connell is in good hands and one guy that particularly made a good name for himself on Saturday was 2023 Mason So. He got after it on defense and showed his offensive skill set against nationally ranked DeMatha as it was extremely impressive how he maneuvered on offense against their bigger defenders. He finished with 13 points.

2023 6’8 Tyler Mason | Bishop O'Connell

Another bright spot for the Knights is 2023 Tyler Mason. Mason already stands at 6’8 and is an active force down low. He is capable of finishing well at the rim on defenders after powering his way in the low post. The lefty is also capable of stretching the floor and shooting a three. Whenever Mason was on the floor Saturday he always seemed to be productive and constantly active.

2022 5'11 Cam'Ron Brown | Archbishop Carroll
