All off the board!
In shooting guards alone, Ohio has four Division I commits, 12 set to play on scholarship at D-II or NAIA programs, a pair of JUCO commits, two Division IIIs, and several football signees.
But there are still two-guards available for every level of college basketball. Here’s all of them on that are on the Prep Hoops Ohio radar:
Top 25 Overall
Mark Wise | 6-4 | Deer Park
offers: Detroit Mercy, Florida Atlantic
Physical combo guard who looks to attack the basket and make plays. Good drive-and-kick player who can also muscle his way all the way to the basket for a finish. Very good rebounder. He can defend up because of his strength and bulky frame.Wise led Deer Park to an undefeated season and Division III State Championship his sophomore year, the height of high school career and stock as a recruit.
Top 50 Overall
Carl Blanton | 6-2 | Trotwood
Efficient scorer who can catch-and-shoot or attack the basket with efficient straight-line moves. Blanton has a lean, athletic build and he also thrives on the gridiron, which isn’t a surprise given his physicality. Shows elusive footwork as a slasher. Blanton is also a very solid defender who stays in front and can pressure the ball. Does a good job of being in good position on defense.
Jadakis Mack | 6-3 | Lima Senior
Mack is an explosive athlete with the potential to be an elite defender at the next level because of his tools. When you’re this great in one area — more specifically, a very important area of the game — the rest is really just gravy. Guards multiple spots. Mack is also a very strong attacker in the open floor, where his athleticism also shines. Improving shooter. Provides rebounding, too.
Gbolahan Adio | 6-3 | Richmond Heights
offers: West Virginia Tech
Wiry athlete with a versatile scoring package. Adio can put points on the scoreboard in transition, on catch-and-shoot, with efficient pull-ups, and he can also create with multiple dribbles. Scholarship-level athleticism. Very solid defender with a good wingspan and lateral quickness.
Top 100 Overall
Kaden Fuhrmann | 6-3 | Lakota East
offers: Delta State, Hillsdale, Urbana, Thomas More
Consistent outside shooter with his feet set. Fuhrmann separates himself from other shooters with his quickness, size, and athleticism. Defensively, he can stay in front and has been groomed into a very solid player on that end. Fuhrmann can also attack because of his first step and use of the shot fake. Flashes acrobatic finishing ability.
Tahleik Walker | 6-2 | Pickerington Central
offers: Alderson Broaddus
Elite perimeter defender. Walker is not only very springy, quick, and fluid, he’s also locked in on defense. He’s alert and shows a commitment to the defensive end. Walker can guard one, two, and three. Offensively, he’s a reliable ball-handler that can attack the rim and finish athletically. Improving shooter. Plays with patience and a noticeable calmness.
Dakota Cochran | 6-2 | Shaker Heights
Bulky wing with immense speed and strength. Cochran uses his athleticism to finish emphatically in traffic — often scoring and-ones through the body. Solid shooter with his feet set. Cochran’s athleticism is also an asset on defense, where he covers ground like a strong safety away from the ball. Provides resistance against slashers by staying in front and absorbing contact.
Cochran has a pair of Division I football offers.
Cooper Parrott | 6-2 | Willard
Two-sport athlete with more going on the football side right now. We’re surprised, however, that recruitment hasn’t picked up for Parrott at this point. He’s a very solid, efficient scorer who can shoot it and take what the defense gives him off the dribble. Strong body and a reliable defender.
Mason Loeffler | 6-3 | Evergreen
offers: Urbana
Loeffler is a knock-down shooter and confident scorer. Has a nifty game inside the arch where he can bounce around and get to the rim with shifty moves. High shooting release. Good athlete.

Skilled scorer with a great handle and pull-up jumper. Scott has improved greatly in the areas of efficiency and shot selection, cultivating a game that should translate nicely to the next level. He is also a more dynamic finisher this season, appearing more athletic.

Chase Poston | 6-4 | Fairfield Union
Former Malone commit who announced that he was opening his recruitment up in late January. Poston is a quick, tall two-guard with a very good jumper. He comes off screens ready and consistently hits shots. Also, he can get to the basket quickly and finish over the top.
Markeece Brown | 6-2 | Licking Heights
offers: Concord, Colby CC
Brown is a strong athlete with a lot of burst at the rim. Plays in straight lines and gets to the rim consistently. Potential as a primary ball-handler.
Kyle Szumski | 6-2 | Medina

Conner Maciag | 6-2 | Pickerington Central

A skilled, flashy scoring package and effort define Maciag’s game. He is willing to sacrifice his body for loose balls and plays with an edge. Creates shots off the bounce with a side-to-side crossover and possesses ability to shoot off the bounce. Good vision.
Sleepers
Martin Lowry | 6-3 | Fairview
offers: Siena Heights
Playmaking combo guard with good size and vision. Court sense. Comfortably playing in transition but can also breakdown his defender in the haflcourt with his shifty side-to-side crossover. Capable spot-up shooter. Plays a European style.
Spencer Aylward | 6-3 SG | Medina
Good athlete with an impressive skill-set who can shoot it or attack the basket. Sound player that operates in the halfcourt. Confident.

offers: Christian Brothers
Big guard that combines size with slashing ability. Plus rebounder. Has the physical tools to defend multiple positions.

Chaney is a smooth offensive player whose biggest strength is spot-up shooting from distance. He combines that threat with a skilled slashing game where he uses his height and touch to finish in traffic.
Arthur Fayne | 6-3 | Cleveland Central Catholic
offers: Urbana
Fayne has collegiate physical tools — his combination of size and athleticism is promising — to go with outside shooting prowess. Shoots a nice rhythm pull-up when he penetrates. He comes from a high school program that requires you to defend and play hard if you want playing time.
Bryce Profitt | 6-2 | Medina Highland
offers: Point Park
Strong, muscular body to go with a knockdown jump shot from distance. Very solid player who can guard a few spots at 6-foot-2.
Brady Uhl | 6-1 | Alter
High-motor, active guard with a stout and strong frame. Would fit well in a motion-style halfcourt offense because of his ability to read and cut away from the ball. Improving and willing outside shooter. Wins the race to a loose ball every time.
Michael Currin | 6-2 | Moeller
Strong frame and good decision-maker. Currin is a capable outside shooter who can also use his body to attack the rim and finish strong. Mostly, though, he initiates offense and plays off of his shot-creators. Plays hard.
Jack Smith | 6-3 | Alter
Smith has good positional size, shooting ability, and confidence to go with a motor. Aggressively looks for space by moving without the ball. Good defender.
Caleb Smith | 6-4 | Start
Mid-range scorer who puts up point in bunches. Likes to catch and operate from around the elbow. Shoots it well.
Marlon Landingham | 6-1 | Rhodes
Scorer. Landingham carries a strong body and the skill to score it from inside and out after catching on the wing.

Skilled mid-range scorer with a thick build. Consistent mid-range shooter off the bounce, often scoring on creative multi-dribble moves.

Kaleb Crawford | 6-3 | Princeton
Crawford has a few football offers. His size, power and athleticism lend itself more to football.
Ed Abernathy | 6-3 | Walnut Hills
offers: Concord
Abernathy is averaging 5.6 points per game with shooting splits of 35-37-56.
Peyton Bissler | 6-2 | West Geauga
Knockdown shooter who moves well without the ball and comes off screens ready to shooter. Solid size.
Bobby Crenshaw | 6-1 | Newark
Extremely athletic wing who mostly stands-out on the defensive end but shows flashes as an explosive slasher. Very good rebounder.

Two-sport star at Galion with a football offer from Lake Erie. Well-rounded basketball player who can score it.
Micah Thomas | 6-4 | Princeton
Thomas has good physical tools and potential on the defensive end as a multi-positional defender.
Carter Gray | 6-3 | Arcanum
Gray, a knockdown shooter with great range, recently became the all-time leader in career points at Arcanum. Catch-and-shoot specialist with good size.

High-motor competitor who does most of his damage in the paint with strong moves and impressive footwork.

Solid athlete with some spring in his legs. Capable shooter and solid defender.
