Prep Hoops was on hand at the Winter Lakes Classic and these are the five best sophomores we saw compete.

Tanner Campos (Guard, 2022) of East Grand Forks. A football quarterback and an intelligent young hooper that is on the court early, Campos is a trusted third option for the Wave hitting on half of his shot attempts with most of the being catch and hit shots at the arc. Campos plays off of the Sam Votava delivery very well plus he’s an excellent entry passer to cutters/posts based on what we were able to see today. Campus scored 11 points with five boards and three assists.

Erik Hedstrom of Alexandria (6’4, Forward, 2022). Hedstrom is a strong, thick forward that can move players with his size but has a feel and touch that allow him to make some smooth plays as well. Was able to score 18 points against one of the biggest teams in the state plus grabbed six boards.

Kris Hoskins (5’10, PG, 2022) of Alexandria.   The type of player that Delano had trouble with this weekend was the speed of Hopkins. Kris Hopkins is a strong, compact player that bursts into space making plays
