Nicolet: Nicolet went 2-0 this week, taking down Slinger and Port Washington. The real win, though, came with the return of Jalen Johnson. The five-star prospect transferred to IMG Academy in Florida prior to this season. His return to Nicolet was unexpected but accepted with open arms, as he brought a national spotlight back to Wisconsin and turned Nicolet into a State frontrunner once again.
The Prairie School: At the Wisconsin-Illinois Border Battle, the Prairie School made a statement with their win over Chicago Perspectives. They also picked up wins over Shoreland Lutheran and Saint Thomas Moore, a major week from a winning and notoriety standpoint.
Sheboygan Lutheran: Lutheran lost to Oostburg earlier in the year, and it has been the lone mark on an otherwise flawless 17-1 record. This week they made amends. They defeated Oostburg 74-67, surpassing them on the conference ladder in the process.
Winnebago Lutheran: Also at the Wisconsin-Illinois Border Battle, Winnebago Lutheran garnered some much-needed attention with a win over Chicago Steinmetz. Lutheran moved to 14-3 on the year with one of the best records in division four. Going forward, this squad could become a State contender as they find their stride late and find a dynamic within their roster.
Honorable Mention:
Brown Deer: With only three games remaining on their schedule, Brown Deer scooped up a late win over Whitnall. This was a marquee win, but a loss to West Allis Central keeps them from cracking the top four.
