Tyler West of Bingham High School
The 6’7 solid big man has been playing well but had the biggest game of his career with a 30 point outburst. Tyler added 4 three pointers to his breakout game. Tyler helped Bingham avenge an earlier loss to Copper Hills. Don’t look now but Bingham might be heading in the right direction at the right time. Tyler is averaging 11 points and 4 rebounds a game.
Max Tripplet of Weber High School
Max had himself a nice 23 point game in a win. The 6’8 player and 200 + lbs. is at times overwhelming for opposing teams. Max is putting up a solid 15 points and 7 rebounds a game. With 5 losses this year Max has Weber playing tough and they will be a tough match-up for anyone in 6A. Max has 5 double-doubles this year.
Trace Ross of Corner Canyon
Trace has been playing at a high level all year with him creating for other as well as himself. He took it to another level on Friday as he scored a career high 26 points and hit 4 three-pointers. Trace has scored in double figures in every game this year making him one of the most consistent guards in the state as a junior.
Jake Howe of Woods Cross
With 28, 5 and 3 Jake had a monster game to knockout rival Farmington. Jake has been playing excellent basketball as he is also playing solid defense. Jake has been hitting 3’s from deep putting pressure on opposing teams with his ability to shoot.
Noa Gonslaves of Lehi
With 21 points and huge win against Alta what made Noa’s performance even more impressive was his 9 rebounds. Noa is a fun player to watch as he will pull from deep but also break you down with his handle and speed.
Caleb Koski of Intermountain Christian
Caleb with another typical night as he scored 37 points as he surpasses the 1,000 point mark in only two years at ICS. Caleb is starting be a bigger threat inside but will still light it up from the outside.
