Overhills HS Sophomore Forward Damien Robinson: Provided a legit interior presence for his team on both ends of the floor. Constantly battling for rebounds and coming up with contested or blocked shots.
Southview Senior Forward Aiden McLaurin: He’s still somewhat of a project player but he finds ways to make an impact on the game. At about 6’5 with long arms he doesn’t have much of issue making plays in the paint and is a player that JC programs should take a look at.
Overhills Senior Guard Zach Lowery: Plays the game with a bounce in his step, finishing above the rim and getting nice elevation on his shot. The toughness that he plays with is something that you have to love, you know for a fact he’s not going to back down from any challenge.
Southview Sophomore Guard Cedavion Wimbley: Provided a nice amount of offense for his team. He’s strong with the ball when he attacks right and also has good range on his three point shot. Plays the game with a high level of energy and enthusiasm from start to finish.
Overhills Senior Guard Jase Ford: Schools at the D2, D3 and JC level should all be giving him a call as he is a player that we have seen score it in bunches over the years. He didn’t have his best shooting night but continued to compete throughout and looked to make more plays on the defensive side of the ball.
Southview HS Junior Forward Ladrell King: High energy player that provided some rebounds for his team which would lead to extra possessions. Displayed a nice shooting stroke from midrange and did a nice job of not forcing anything offensively.
Overhills HS Senior Guard Jordan Davis: A downhill type of Guard that looked to attack early and often offensively. Didn’t necessarily have his best day scoring the ball but we like the fact that he stayed active and aggressive.
