Village Christian Senior Guard Zavian Mclean: As usual he provided a high amount of the offensive scoring load for his team with 17 points in the Semis. He has a knack for scoring the ball and using his strength to power through any type of defensive contact. In the championship game he put together one of his better games, scoring 25 points and make big time plays in clutch moments. He would go on to be named the Tournament MVP.
Northwood Temple Sophomore Guard Jaquantae Harris: Provided a high amount of scoring for his team as he lead all scorers with 26 points on the night. He has has a smooth but crafty game, understanding how to create space for himself but also has impressive athletic ability. D1 programs should be putting his name on their list as he is a prospect that will only get better over the years.
Village Christian Senior Guard Justin Thomas: The second half of the Semis and Championship game were where he really stepped up and made plays that would eventually help the squad get wins. A legit 6’5 that can break down a defender , he understands how to put the ball in the bucket. D1 programs should be giving him a call ASAP as we feel he could go in and make an early contribution.
Trinity Christian Senior Guard Mike Boykin: If you’re a D2 program that is looking for a guard that can score the ball, he is definitely a player that you want to contact. He’s automatic from midrange and has what we would call “sneaky” athleticism. It doesn’t take much for him to get off the floor and make a play above the rim.
Freedom Christian Senior Guard Manrique Alvarado: If you’re looking for a true PG, he is a player that you will want to take a look at. He always has his head up and constantly looking to make the correct play. His gift for passing the ball as well as getting his own offense when needed are all things that make him a solid overall PG prospect.
Northwood Temple Senior Wing Reggie Raynor: Mount Olive College & Catawba were both in the building to checking him out as both schools are on his final four list . Night in and night out you know pretty much what you’re going to get from Raynor, he’s going to score and rebound at a high level as well as playing with a high motor.
