Chaminade sophomore post Tarris Reed is a prospect that continues to see his stock rise both in the state of Missouri and nationally.  The 6’8” 2022 power forward has all the tools to be a high-major post.  Over the summer he worked out with former Chaminade star Tyler Cook and you can see a lot of similarities in their games.  He has an advanced feel scoring on the block with his post positioning.  Knows how to take advantage of what the defense is giving him.  Quick footwork, seals, and has a soft touch.  Hook shots and dunks out of this young big man on a regular basis.  Defensively he is a shot blocking presence and a force on the boards with his strong frame.

Reed spoke with PrepHoops about his sophomore season.

“It is going pretty well.  I think I have been playing well offensively and defensively.  Stretching the defense and finishing well.  Overall I think I am doing just fine.”
