One of the top Illinois prep unsigned seniors is playing his senior year at AZ Compass Prep (AZ) in Seryee Lewis.  The face up four man played his first three years of high school in Chicago, but decided to complete his last on the national prep school circuit.  He ran with the Mac Irvin Fire over the summer in the Nike EYBL.  Lewis is at his best when he is using his quickness on the interior getting on the glass, displaying fluid post moves, and showing a mid-range game shooting along with putting it on the deck.  We caught up with Lewis to see how the year has gone in Arizona.

“The transition has been really good.  I’m happy I made this move and felt like it was the best thing for me to become a better player.  Season has been great!  We’ve been beating all the top prep school teams.”

How does he feel he has played individually?

“I have been playing great!  I’m averaging a double double which I’m doing against a high level of competition.  The biggest area that elevated is my wing skills because I can take it on the break or call a pick and
