Steven Clay — Menomonee Falls — SF
Menomonee Falls hasn’t been able to compete with the elite in the Greater Metro Conference this season, but MF’s struggles can’t be put on the shoulders of Clay. The 2022 small forward is having an incredible sophomore season.
This week, Clay continued his phenomenal play, tallying 59 points in two games.
David Joplin — Brookfield Central — SF
In the biggest game of the week, Joplin had the best performance. The 6-foot-7 small forward dropped 36 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Brookfield Central’s massive win over Sussex Hamilton.
The win for the Lancers pretty much wraps up the GMC title race, as it looks like BC is far ahead of every other team. And with the type of game that Joplin had, he now finds himself in great position to win player of the year in the GMC.
Tyrese Hunter — Racine St. Catherines — PG
Hunter’s game log features multiple high scoring games, but most importantly, it includes 19 W’s next to his stats. This week, the point guard scored 59 points and led St. Catherines to two victories.
Hunter is in the midst of an incredible season that is showing no signs of slowing down.
Jalen Johnson — Nicolet — SF
Wisconsin high school basketball just isn’t as much fun without Johnson.
On senior night, the Duke commit scored 30 points, snagged 14 rebounds, and dished out ten assists. He also threw down a transition dunk that will go down as one of the more impressive in-game slams of the high school season.

Honorable Mentions:
Colin Schaefer — Sun Prairie — PG
Schaefer is one of the more consistent point guards in the state. The 6-foot-1 Sun Prairie star had his best game of the season against Verona on Thursday night. Schaefer scored 33 points and led the Cardinals to a solid victory.
Brady Olsen — Cuba City — PG
Olsen keeps putting up big numbers and Cuba City keeps on winning games. In CC’s 19th win of this season, Olsen scored 33 points, had 10 assists, and snatched nine boards.
