Johnny Davis — La Crosse Central — SG
In front of a sellout crowd of nearly 3,000 fans, Johnny Davis came up with a monster performance. Facing off against a star-studded Minnehaha Academy squad, Davis scored 42 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Central’s upset bid fell short, but the blame certainly can’t be placed on the shoulders of Davis. The Wisconsin commit did everything in his power to try and will his team to a victory.
Dalton Banks — Eau Claire North — PG
Yep, Dalton Banks is back for more. After winning last week’s award, Banks finds himself on this list once again. This time, his player of the week nomination comes after the point guard dropped a career-high 46 points on Saturday. Banks also poured in 29 points in a win over DC Everest earlier in the week.
Patrick Baldwin Jr. — Sussex Hamilton — SG/SF
In some games, Patrick Baldwin Jr. just can’t be stopped. Menomonee Falls had to endure an unstoppable Baldwin on Friday night when he broke Sussex Hamiltion’s single-game scoring record by putting up 41 points.
The five-star prospect continues to dominate in ways that no other Wisconsin high school basketball player has before.
Cameron Palesse — Waukesha West — PG
Not to be left out of the record-breaking fun, Cameron Palesse also broke a school record with a 41 point performance. In a 59-55 loss to Oconomowoc, Palesse scored nearly 75 percent of his team’s points.
After losing a lot of talent to graduation, Waukesha West has placed a lot of pressure on the junior guard. Palesse has accepted the challenge and played very well in the last couple of weeks.
Honorable Mentions:
Jordan Johnson — Elkhorn — G
Scoring over 30 points in back-to-back games, Jordan Johnson earns a spot on the honorable mentions part of this list. In two Elkhorn wins, Johnson combined for 68 total points.
Kobe Johnson — Nicolet — PG
Kobe Johnson continues to have a really strong junior season. The Nicolet point guard tallied 31 points and led his squad to a convincing win over Hartford on Friday.
