POLL: Player of the Week (Week 12)
The final week of the regular season yielded several nominees for Player of the Week. Polls are open until noon eastern on Friday:
Hunter Brogan, Bullitt East – In a win against Nelson County, the Senior scored 28 and grabbed three rebounds then had 17 and 6 in a loss to Elizabethtown.
Austin Chiles, Waggener – In a blowout win over Brown, Chiles had 3 points and 2 rebounds then had 14 points and 2 rebounds in a win over St. Xavier.
Baylor Mattingly, Lincoln County – In a losing effort at Lexington Catholic, Mattingly went for 21 points and 2 rebounds on 7/12 from 3. In a win over Casey County, he had 23 points and 4 rebounds while shooting 7/10 from 3.
Jamaun Clark, Paris – In a triple OT loss to Harrison County, the Senior had 20 points and 4 rebounds, in a win over Pendleton County, he had 23 points and 5 rebounds then finished the week with 23 points and 5 rebounds in a win over Western Hills.
Kaeveon Mitchell, Breckinridge County – In a loss to Central Hardin, he had 27 points and 9 rebounds then had 32 points and 7 rebounds in a win over Whitesville Trinity.
Jeremiah Belton, LaRue County – Belton had 6 points and 2 rebounds in a close loss to Elizabethtown before posting 22 points and 6 rebounds while shooting 5/6 from three in a double OT loss to Warren Central.
Austin “RIco” Carr-Cole, North Oldham – In a losing effort at Collins, Rico had 20 points and 2 rebounds then followed it with 25 points and 2 rebounds in a loss to Montgomery County before finishing the regular season with 21 points in a win over DeSales.
B’Angelo Anderson, Western – The Warriors went 3-0 on the week. Anderson had 41 points against Louisville Holy Cross, 32 points against Moore and 13 points against Iroquois.
