POLL: Player of the Week (Week 10)
After a week with only a handful of nominees, the DMs and tweet responses blew up this week. We had almost 20 nominations come in on Sunday. I’ve done my best to whittle it down to 10 for the poll. Voting is open until noon eastern on Friday.
Tyson Turner, Collins – Turner had 27 points on 8/14 shooting in a win over McCracken County at the Wes Strader Schoolboy Shootout.
Zak Perdew, Bullitt East – The Senior guard had 8 points and 2 rebounds in a loss to Jeffersontown but bounced back big time with 39 points and 7 rebounds on 11/17 shooting in an overtime win over North Bullitt.
Dre Boyd, Warren Central – The Dragons went 3-0 last week and Boyd with team high 13 points and 6 rebounds against Christian County, 12 points and 11 rebounds against Hopkinsville and 19 points and 9 rebounds in a win over Lafayette Jefferson (IN) which is one of the top teams in Indiana.
Tredyn Thomas, Pendleton County – Thomas had 24 points and 4 boards against Robertson County, 23 points and 7 rebounds against Bishop Brossart and 42 points and 20 rebounds in a win over Bracken County.
Trent Findley, Seneca – The Senior wing had team highs with 23 points and 12 rebounds in a win over St. X but no stats were submitted for the win over Madison Central.
Ksuan Casey, Madisonville – The big man led the Maroons to a 3-0 week with 17 points and 12 rebounds against Owensboro Catholic, 20 points and 12 rebounds against Caldwell County and 30 points and 15 rebounds against Butler.
Trevor Hardin, Henry County – The Junior forward had 10 points and 5 rebounds against Grant County, 17 points and 13 rebounds against Eminence and 29 points and 14 rebounds against Washington County.
Tyren Moore, Male – Had 14 points and 2 rebounds in limited playing time against Collegiate, 21 points and 5 rebounds against PRP and 20 points and 4 rebounds against Trinity. All three games were wins for the Bulldogs.
Blake Robinson, Grant County – 21 points and 6 rebounds in a win over Ryle, 14 points and 5 rebounds in a win over Henry County and 17 points and 2 rebounds in a loss to North Oldham.
Justin Becker, Robertson County – The Sophomore had 35 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Pendleton County and 10 points and 9 rebounds in a win over Fleming County. He was also recognized for his 1500th career point.
