Hendrickson jumped out on the Tigers and had them on the ropes early in the game. Cypress Park couldn’t get the looks they wanted and the game was looking like it was going to be a lopsided event. Then as the second quarter starts the Tigers applied pressure on the Hawks and forced multiple turnovers and went on a nice run to take the lead. In this small gym, it sounded as if thousands of fans were at the game. The Tigers kept applying the pressure to start off the third. It was a late fourth-quarter push by the Hawks that brought them back in the game from down by 9 and hit a big-time trey ball with 5 seconds left in the game to send it into overtime. In overtime, the Hawks continued their momentum and came away as the victors.
