Kaleb Badura, senior, Rossville:
The Bulldogs will have their hands full against Jefferson North. The 5-foot-9 Badura will try to put up the 20 points he put up against Wamego and Wabaunsee.
Jaxson Pope, senior, McClouth:
The 15-4 Bulldogs shouldn’t be tested by 0-19 Oskaloosa. The 6-foot-8 Pope averages about 17 points and 12 rebounds per game.
Dylan Thompson, junior, Jackson Heights:
Two teams with losing records will face off when 5-15 Jackson Heights takes on 6-14 Riverside. The Cobras will need Thompson to step up. He’s scored in double figures seven times this season and will.
Cameron Beardsley, junior, Valley Heights:
The 15-6 Mustangs are led by the 6-foot-1 junior, who averages about 13 points a game. He has several games of over 20 points, but has been held to single digits in three of the last four outings.
Stavion Jones, junior Seabury:
The 17-2 Seahawks are loaded and ranked #1 in 2A entering the playoffs. Jones has a track record as a state honorable mention player as a sophomore. He averages about 19 points per game. The Seahawks have a bye the first round and will play on Tuesday.
Cade Oliver, sophomore, Wabaunsee:
The 6-foot Oliver started the season with several big outings for 8-11 Wabaunsee. He has been slowed of late, but still averages about 11 points a game. His Chargers face Northern Heights on Tuesday.
Cameron Heiman, senior, Northern Heights:
The 17-3 Wildcats have seen the 5-foot-10 senior Heiman go for more than 20 points several times this year. He went for 31 in his last regular season game against West Franklin. He finished the season averaging about 20 points a game.
