ICS has a few players that can make an impact. Green River and Valley also have a few players that can score the basketball. Wendover has a two headed guard monster that can score in a flurry. Bryce Valley has a little bit of size that could bother people. 1A is competitive this year and could go to the team who peaks at the right time.
6’7 Caleb Koski (Intermountain Christian)
Caleb is a match-up problem as he can score inside and out. He has the ultimate green light from anywhere on the court. Caleb’s length is often a challenge because he shoots over smaller guards with ease. He is that one kid that could go off for 50 in hurry.
6’0 Rad Hughes (Green River)
Rad is a good inside outside threat but he doesn’t need to hit too many three’s to make an impact. He is one of those kids that can go off at any time.
6’8 Braden Heaton (Valley)
This kid has size and he has raw talent. A small school looking for size and has time to develop could take a kid like Braden coming out of a small town. Don’t be fooled by his stats, most of his stats aren’t reported. He’s a double-double player.
6’6 Treyson Roberts (Bryce Valley)
Treyson will be another small school player that is on pace to reach the 1,000 point club. He moves well without the basketball. Could be an issue guarding him in 1A.
5’10 Jaime Montalvo (Wendover)
Jamie has a great motor and can flat out score. Jamie has scored in double figures in every game this year including a 43 point outburst. He is that player that will flirt with a triple-double every game.
Jordan Lucio (Manila)
Jordan is a double-double machine as he can haul in more than 10 a game and put up some great numbers on the offensive end. If teams do not put a body on him he will make them pay.
