6’3 Alec Dimick (Woods Cross)
Long and lanky with endless energy the track athlete can run up and down the court all day. He had a peak performance as his team needed all of his 21 points to get a road victory to set up a Region title and rivalry game on Friday. With 8 double figure games this year Alec can be that spark plug that is needed to help make a run in any game.
6’4 Otto Tia (Northridge)
The 210 pound body had himself a game last night scoring 22 points in an overtime win. While Otto can consistently give his team 5-7 points on any night he puts a lot of pressure on teams when he can score in double-figures. His increased play can also open things up for his teammates.
6’1 Daisean Cash (Hunter)
While Daisean helped his team get the win, ten teammates were able to get on the board. Desian has been a solid 15 point and 5 rebound type of guard. With Hunter on the lower end of the standings Dasian will have to continue to elevate his game.
6’0 Gabe Evans (West Jordan)
With an unblemished record in region play on the line Gabe decided to go off for 10 three-pointers to total all of his 30 points. West Jordan will not have to share the region title. Gabe made more three’s in last nights game than he has n the last 5 games. He will need to continue to shoot the ball well as the RPI has not been kind to Region 2.
6’3 Chase Gardner (Copper Hills)
With 18 points Chase helped Copper Hills get a huge win against Herriman. This is his biggest game of the year and Copper Hills could use more of his scoring to spread things out a bit.
6’3 Noah Moeaki (American Fork)
Noah has been consistent all year long but in a defensive battle Noah had 14 points to upset Westlake. This marks 2 huge wins in a row with one to go for AF and Noah.
