The boys basketball season is reaching it's final stages. Teams are finishing up their regular season schedules and preparing for postseason tournaments. This is where the stars begin to shine around the state and are expected to play their best basketball. Here are the players of the week around New Jersey from a week ago.

Will Richardson (2022) | Bergen Catholic

Richardson has been the leading scorer for one of the best teams in the state. He continued his hot streak with 29 points in a win over DePaul and 26 points in a six point victory over St. Joe's (Mont.). He closed out the week with 17 points in a blowout of Hasbrouck Heights. The sophomore is scoring just over 21 points per game and has blossomed into one of the top sophomores in the state.

M.J. Iraldi (2020) | West Deptford

Iraldi has led the way for West Deptford during their current streak of 10 wins in 11 games. He began the week with 13 points and 10 rebounds against St. Augustine. He followed that up with 11 points, seven rebounds, and 10 assists against Haddon Township. Iraldi closed out is week with 13 points, seven
