In unsurprising news Region 1 owns the top 3 spots of the rankings and frankly not many people can argue against that, but who is number 1 is debatable. Region 4 sure is beating itself up with teams just beating each other creating a log jam at the top of the Region 4 standings. Region 3 is starting to get interesting as well with a huge win from Bingham to put everyone closer to contention for a region championship. Nobody seems t be paying attention to Region 2 but Taylorsville and West Jordan can play.

With one team surging and another sliding there will continue to be fluctuation in the RPI. Region 5 has 3-4 teams that if they’re on they could win it all. Region 6 is competitive. Region 7 is a battle every night. Region 8 has the #1 team in 5A.

4A has been a two team race from the get-go. It doesn’t seem like that will change unless there is a huge upset. There was one huge upset already as Cedar Valley pulled out a big win. Region 9 and Region 11 seem to have some of the toughest teams battle ready.
