Here are 8 new faces in the sophomore class from the AIA that will be joining the upcoming rankings.
Dasean Lecque PG 6’0 Desert Vista
-A dynamic scoring guard can score it in bunches. He is fast in the open court and loves taking contact off of the bigs and scoring it deep in the paint.
Sidney Wooten PG 5’11 Sunnyslope
-A pure PG who has improved his jumper and has a great feel for the game and pace.
Brooks Jones SF 6’5 American Leadership Academy-Queen Creek
-An athletic forward will get his chance next year. Two big seniors graduate and Jones will step in and breakout with scoring and defending.
Jake Lifgren PG 6’0 Centennial
-A natural shooter showed me he can run a team as well. He still has that scoring mentality but makes good reads/decisions.
Croix Sweeney SF 6’3 Horizon
-A strong inside/outside threat who can carry the Huskies in every game.
Ahmari Moody PG 6’1 Heritage Maricopa
-A smooth and shifty ball handler has real speed and makes good reads.
Jaylen Wesley PF 6’3 McClintock
A beast inside with an elite motor to rebound the ball. It is very hard to keep him off the glass.
AJ Riggs SG 6’2 Highland
-One of the top East Valley shooters has flawless form and is one of the building blocks for the Hawks future.
