1st Team
Will McClendon 6’3 SG Bishop Gorman 2021 (#3PHN 2021) – McClendon saved his best for last, he was magnificent in the region finals displaying great playmaking and defensive skills.
Zaon Collins 6’1 PG Bishop Gorman 2021 (#2PHN 2021) – It felt like a quiet tournament for Collins, however when you look at his overall numbers, he displayed perhaps some of his best PG game during the tournament. He finished with 10 assists in the championship game.
Jaden Hardy 6’5 PG Coronado 2021 (#1PHN 2021) – Hardy showed why he is one of the top players in the country. He carried the Cougars to the semifinals with his scoring and playmaking ability.
Sebastian Mack 6’1 SG Durango 2023 (#1PHN 2023) – The freshmen deserves to be on this team. Mack found his grove and showed why he is one of the top shooters in his class. He went a remarkable 8 for 8 against Coronado in the Semis.
Julian Strawther 6’6 SF Liberty 2020 (#2PHN 2020) – Strawther capped a terrific career with a fabulous tournament run. His electrifying scoring helped carry the Patriots to the semifinals.
2nd Team
Joshua Jefferson 6’6 PF Liberty 2021 (#3PHN 2022) -Jefferson’s game is evolving at a quick pace. He rebounded and showed off his newfound ability to shoot and handle.
Keshon Gilbert 6’3 PG Durango 2021 (#6PHN 2021) – The tough as nails PG helped Durango advance to the Finals with his savy PG play.
Braden Lamar 6’5 SF Bishop Gorman 2020 (#9PHN 2020) – Lamar was an absolute stud in the Finals, he finished with 17 points. With him playing at a high level, the Gaels once again look like the favorite to win their 9th straight state title.
Jaxon Kohler 6’9 PF Coronado 2022 (#2PHN 2022) – Kohler’s size and length was a huge problem for opponents all tournaments. He also showed the ability to finish with an array of post moves.
Anthony Hunter 5’11 PG Durango 2020 (#6PHN 2020) – Hunter showed his value on the defensive end. The Trailblazers are still playing, and Hunter the uber quick PG is a big reason why.
