Prep Hoops Florida was in the house on Tuesday night for a big playoff matchup between Santa Fe Catholic and Calvary Christian Academy.  Santa Fe jumped out early behind their guard trio.  The depth for Calvary got them back in the game with a balanced scoring attack.  They got within one point in the second half, but could never quite get over the hump as Santa Fe took home the win 48-41.  Here are our Most Intriguing Prospects: Santa Fe Catholic vs Calvary Christian!

Javon Bell (Santa Fe Catholic – 2020)

Bell was outstanding especially early setting the tone for Santa Fe.  The 6’4” shooting guard is a lengthy wing with plus athleticism.  Smooth looking perimeter shot that he knocked down from both the wing and corner.  Had a couple key finishes around the hoop.  Bouncy wing that is headed to State College of Florida.  Should be a D1 prospect after a couple years at the JUCO.  Went for 14 points.

Joe Stubbs (Santa Fe Catholic – 2020)

Stubbs is also a 6’4” wing.  Freak show athlete with major bounce throwing down an alley oop along with a massive one handed jam in transition.
