RONALD AYERS | FLINT HILL
Ayers is a left-handed guard who is enjoying a breakout senior campaign with the Huskies. He is one of the better shooters you will find in the tournament and can fill it up in bunches.
MIKE BROWN | SIDWELL FRIENDS
Brown is a stretch forward who has come a long way in his time at Sidwell. He’s worked hard to improve his physique, and the results have been evident over the last several months. It will be interesting to see how Brown performs in this postseason setting.
DOWAR JIOKLOW | FLINT HILL
Jioklow is a left-handed forward who can impact the game in a number of ways. His best attribute, however, is his motor. Look for Jioklow to be first to every 50/50 ball in or out of his area.
MONTEZ MCNEIL | GEORGETOWN DAY
McNeil is a sturdily-built forward who is the fulcrum offensively for his team. Expect much of GDS’ offense to revolve around the unheralded senior.
JAMEL MELVIN | POTOMAC SCHOOL
Melvin is one of the best shot-blockers you will find, not only in this league but the entire DMV. He is capable of stretching the floor and knocking down shots outside the paint, which is rare for someone with his size.
TEO RICE | MARET
Rice has played his best ball for the Frogs this season, eclipsing the 30-point mark on a few occasions, but also leading his team defensively and with his overall effort. It will be interesting to see how far he can lead his team in this tournament.
MARTYNAS SABALIAUSKAS | ST. JAMES
Sabaliauskas is a good shooter with size. He is capable of catching fire and knocking down 5+ treys on a given night.
BERKE SERTCAN | ST. JAMES
An all-league selection, Sertcan is a newcomer to St. James who has enjoyed a solid season. Look for him to be aggressive, particularly offensively where he excels at scoring in the mid-range areas.
ALEX WILLIAMS | MARET
Williams is a three-and-D guard who can easily score 20+ points on a given night. He is one of the better shooters in the MAC and should be accounted for on the perimeter.
