After suffering their first loss of the season on Friday, Life Christian wanted to bounce back. The Lions did that and more as they got back to their winning ways with a key Valley 10 victory at home over fellow Top Ten team North Clackamas Christian in a 60-35 runaway on Monday night.

Max Morelli led the way for the Lions with 19 points on 9-for-11 shooting while Kobe Jenson posted a double-double of 14 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Blake Lambert added 10 points as Life Christian dominated on both ends all night, a nice return home after a tough loss to Damascus Christian late last week.

"Damascus was a good test for us as we hadn't played a tough road game yet, and tt was one of those games where you had to fight, compete and be tough and we didn't do it consistently enough," said Life Christian head coach JS Nash. "So in this game I thought we did a much better job of just coming out and taking the fight to them instead of getting knocked on our heels."
